 Omega Blue's Seedline Overview

After learning that 4 corporations have patented control over 80% of the world's vegetable seeds, Dawn and I felt compelled to do our small part in support of our market garden. We started with 5 locally selected varieties in 2010 and have expanded the list to 30 varieties in 2013. The rest of the seeds come from the same places the other guys buy their seeds. Likewise, they are bought in bulk and re-packaged. The revenue from these seeds helps our local plant breeding efforts, bringing true local food security to our community.

Quality Open Pollinated, non GMO, and Organic seeds are our highest priority. Omega Blue Farm's current seed production and breeding efforts are focussing on those Open Pollinated plants that are hardest to find as organic seeds.

Thank-you for your support and please share your experiences and wish list.
